APS6 Project Officer

Randstad is searching for a skilled and accomplished APS6 Project Officers who possesses a keen eye for detail and excels in their field. This role requires the ability to build and sustain strong Arelationships. Our collaborative department is in need of an enthusiastic individual who embraces challenges and is committed to making a positive impact within the federal government sector.

About your new role

The APS6 Project Officer is a proactive and highly organised role responsible for leading and supporting projects that enhance the participant experience. Operating under limited direction, the officer coordinates strategic planning and project management. The role is specifically focuses on continuous improvement, quality management frameworks, and staff capability uplift.

What you will need to exceed

• A strong understanding of Agile project management methodologies to effectively plan, monitor, and deliver work packages.
• Demonstrated experience in initiating and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders while managing their expectations.
• A high level of initiative to manage competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• The ability to translate complex information into clear, concise written briefs, presentations, and reports for executive review.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 (specifically Word, PowerPoint and Planner)
• Experience in Continuous Improvement (CI) or Quality Management Frameworks (QMF), as the branch is responsible for identifying trends to drive performance improvements.
• Experience in government administration, which provides the necessary understanding of privacy, accessibility guidelines, and official reporting structures.
